Brandon K. Leavitt is a 6th generation Southern Nevadan and has family ties to the initial settlers of the Las Vegas valley. He was born in Henderson, Nevada and graduated from Green Valley High School in 1998.
Attorney Leavitt went on to pursue his education from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in Communications with an emphasis in argumentation and negotiation. Attorney Leavitt graduated from the University of Utah with distinction.
Attorney Leavitt earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) Degree from the prestigious Shepard Broad College of Law at Florida’s Nova Southeastern University in Davie/Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Adhering to his lifelong work ethic, Mr. Leavitt was employed full-time as a law clerk for a Fortune 100 company while putting himself through law school.

Mr. Leavitt began his legal career in Nevada by serving as Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Charles J. Hoskin of Dept. E, at the Eighth Judicial District Court – Family Division in Clark County. Judge Hoskin was the Presiding Judge of the Clark County Family Courts during Attorney Leavitt’s tenure at the Family Court.
As a result of Attorney Leavitt’s time at the Family Court, Attorney Leavitt is uniquely qualified to counsel each client from the perspective of the Judges who will preside, and ultimately make rulings, on each of his client’s cases.
After leaving the Family Court and entering private practice, Attorney Leavitt gained valuable legal experience by working for several of the premier Family Law firms in the Las Vegas valley.
