Robert W. Clapp is an associate attorney with the Leavitt Family Law Group. Robert practices exclusively in family law, representing parties in matters related to complex high-asset divorce matters, child custody, child support, guardianship, and other related matters.
Robert was born and raised in Las Vegas, graduating from the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts in 2003. In 2010, Robert graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, earning a degree in Political Science with a minor in music technology (audio recording). After earning his undergraduate degree, Robert was hired as a receptionist at the Mullins Law Firm and was quickly promoted to litigation paralegal. Robert continued working as a litigation paralegal at an AV-rated family law firm in Clark County, Nevada, until he decided to attend law school in the fall of 2017. Robert graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law in 2020. He was subsequently admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in the fall of 2020.

During law school, Robert was recognized as the outstanding student of the semester by the Community Free Legal Education Service Program, in connection with the Legal Aid of Southern Nevada, for providing free legal education by teaching divorce education classes to the general public. Robert earned a CALI award (the highest grade in a particular class) in Legal Writing I. While in law school, Robert also clerked for the same AV-rated family law firm during the summers of 2018 and 2019.
When Robert is not practicing law, he enjoys playing and recording music, watching movies with his family, and watching the Cubbies play baseball. Robert is also an avid cook who enjoys creating tasty dishes to share with family and friends.
